2011 - Almost Gone

This year found us doing a lot of traveling. In April we headed northeast visiting friends a long the way. We stopped in Dayton, OH for the River Rats Reunion. They held most of the events at the National Museum of the Air Force at Wright Patterson. What a fantastic venue.

Of course when we headed south we stopped at Macintire ANG to do a show for the Swamp Foxes. Dick has a tender spot for that group because they were his last active duty assignment. Check out "Swamp Fox" at the erosonic.com website if you want to hear more.

We returned home in June in time for Dick to accept the nomination to be President of the Northern Arizona Chapter of MOAA for 2012. He is looking forward to doing a good job for them for his term of 2 years.

In October we headed for San Antonio for the Head Hunters Reunion. The hospitality suite got really rowdy a couple of nights. "Twin Tailed Lightning" was a favorite of the crowd.

Later that month we were back in San Antonio for the MOAA conference to learn about how to be an officer and to meet other officers from around Arizona.

November took us to Luke AFB for the 2nd Tactics Conference. The Friday Night party was in a hanger this year and Dos Gringos joined in the fun.

Dick stays active in the Prescott area with The Cool Water Band. Today the band will be at Morimer's Farms at 3 PM as part of their fall festival. We will be playing at the Prescott Trading Co., on Whiskey Row [142 Montezuma], the evening of Dec. 9th -- 5:30 - 8:30 +/- as part of the annual holiday Acker event. On Sat., Dec. 10th the band will provide music for the Holiday Lunch of the NAC of MOAA. So you see with all of this we do stay busy. If you are in the area for any of these upcoming events please stop by & say hello.
